Friday & Saturday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Police and fire services in Duarte are provided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

To make a criminal report of non-emergency matters, please contact Temple Sheriff's Station at (626) 285-7171 or visit the Duarte Sheriff's Satellite Station during business hours. 

To contact LA County Fire Station 44 located at 1105 Highland Ave. Duarte, CA 91010 please call (626) 358-3118.

In case of an emergency, always dial 9-1-1. 

Please be aware that 9-1-1 emergency calls made from cell phones are first routed through the California Highway Patrol, which causes a delay in response time. Make sure you know exactly what City you are in, so that the CHP can route your call to the correct law enforcement agency without additional delays.

Our Mission

The mission of the Duarte Public Safety Department is to protect and enhance the quality of life in our community through a comprehensive program of services in both code and law enforcement in order to preserve life, maintain human rights, protect property and promote education. Through prevention, intervention and suppression we promote individual responsibility and community commitment. We recognize that we cannot be successful without the partnership between our department and the diverse community working together toward this common goal.
