City of Duarte Drive-Thru Food Distribution July 8

The City of Duarte, in collaboration with Labor Community Services Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, the Miguel Contreras Foundation, SEIU Local 721 and UFCW Local 1428, is hosting a food distribution on Wednesday, July 8 at Encanto Park. This drive-thru food pantry will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to last until 12 p.m., or until supplies last.

City of Duarte Summer Events Roundup

Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Duarte has elected to cancel or postpone many summer staple events.

Events that can follow or be safely adapted to L.A. County’s Roadmap to Recovery guidelines will be included in the summer activities. Innovative new events and activities, such as the Parks and Recreation Virtual Recreation Center, are being created regularly.

Duarte Dog Licenses Must be Purchased by July 1

News Image

All dogs over the age of 4 months are required to be licensed. A rabies vaccination certificate, which is valid for the entire licensing period, and a certificate of sterility (if applicable) are required to license your pet. Licenses are due annually on July 1st.
