City Facilities Winter Holidays Closures and Parking Citation Suspension

The City of Duarte offices and services will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, 2020 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. City Hall will reopen on Monday, November 30.

News From South Coast Air Quality Management District

Beginning November 1 through the end of February 2021, local residents are asked to “Check Before You Burn” and refrain from burning wood in residential fireplaces, backyard fire pits and wood stoves on days when unhealthy air quality is forecast.

During this time, South Coast AQMD issues periodic mandatory no-burn alerts for days when emissions and stagnant weather conditions are expected to raise fine particulate pollution to unhealthy levels.

Give Blood, Learn if You Have COVID-19 Antibodies

When you donate blood at one of our upcoming blood drives, you will also be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Through our partnership with American Red Cross, all blood, platelet and plasma donations will undergo testing for COVID-19 antibodies as an additional health service to donors. This testing can provide critical insight into whether you may have been exposed to the coronavirus.
