In 2020, the Town Center area will continue its rapid growth with a new hotel. A 178-room, all suites hotel has recently been approved at 1230 Huntington Drive. The project will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 includes a 72-room, five-story hotel with a lobby, meeting space, breakfast/dining room, and a caf√©. Parking is provided at-grade and in a one- level subterranean parking lot. Phase 2 will add a 106-room, five-story building and associated gym and is adjacent to phase one.
To reduce traffic impacts, the hotel will provide a shuttle service for guests with daily trips to local destinations, such as the Gold Line Station, City of Hope and shopping and special trips to events, such as the Rose Parade, Santa Anita Racetrack or LA County Fairgrounds. Other trip reducing amenities will include, bike rentals for guests, a public transportation information kiosk in the hotel lobby; and Hotel employees will receive free Metro rail and bus passes.
In addition to its outstanding architectural design, the hotel will also provide public art on its east facing elevation. Construction on the hotel is scheduled to begin in 2020.
