L.A. County Announces New Voting Centers for March 3 Election - Five Sites Serving Duarte

LA County is taking a leap into the future by updating its voter experience starting with the upcoming March 2020 presidential primary election. The new voting model moves away from the reliance on paper, and provides real time access to a live voter database. The new Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) system also features 1100 Voting Centers throughout L.A. County with five serving Duarte residents.

  • Santa Teresita Hospital, 819 Buena Vista Street  – 2/22 – 3/3*
  • Duarte Community Center, 1600 Huntington Drive – 2/29 to 3/3
  • Pamela County Park, 2236 Goodall Avenue – 2/29 to 3/3
  • Royal Oaks Park Building, 2627 Royal Oaks Drive – 2/29 – 3/3
  • Valley View Elementary School – 237 MelCanyon Road – 2/29 – 3/3

 *11 Day site

Note: All sites are open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for voting day (March 3), when hours will be extended from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The new system also allows any registered voter to use any of the approximate 1100 voting centers throughout the County, and provides up to 11 voting days instead of one at some sites. Each center features full language services, expanded accessibility, and new electronic poll books that allow for “same day” voter registration. For additional information, visit VSAP.lavote.net or call 1-800-815-2666.
